Best Vegetarian Street Food in Bangkok
Street food is one of the hardest things about being vegetarian in Bangkok as there is a lot of Thai street food that is meat heavy and many dishes will contain fish sauce. To discuss with street vendors the best thing to do is to learn the following Thai phrases:
gin jay – meaning vegan
mang-sa-willa- meaning vegetarian
Most street food in Bangkok can be adapted to be vegetarian like popular dishes such as ‘pad thai’ ‘pad see yew’ ‘som tum’.
